THE FESTIVAL

Sheftival is is Sheffield’s unique festival of sport, music and culture. It is timed to celebrate our own Jess Ennis competing for an Olympic medal as well as the 50th Anniversary of Jamaica’s Independence Day plus - we hope - seeing the world’s fastest ever man, running faster than ever. Whether you love the Olympics or want to escape them, we have something for everyone.

Sheftival takes place across Don Valley Stadium, the English Institute Of Sport Sheffield and Don Valley Bowl on the 4th and 5th August. There are eight stages, approximately 1,000 artists, competitors and dancers; three markets, three fairgrounds, free ice skating and 25 sports activities to take part in. From as little as £10 a ticket, Sheftival is seriously good value for money, just what people need this summer.

What bands are playing at Sheftival?

Check out the line-up page! We’ll be announcing Real Radio’s star studded pop line-up in the coming weeks.

What time is Sheftival on?

12pm-10.30pm on Saturday 4th August and Sunday 5th August.

How Much Does it Cost?

You can wander the Sheftival site for free, but to make the most of the festival we recommend you buy a wristband. We have kept pricing affordable (just enough to cover the costs of the event). A family of four can come for a day for £40 or for the weekend for £70. We reckon that’s more or less the same as a trip to the cinema these days! Under 18’s get in for a tenner a day and adults for £12. If you are a friend of Fitness Unlimited, Tramlines, The Sheffield Star, The Mercury or Exposed, keep an eye out for special offers and even further savings.
